BRR Ranch

BRR Ranch

The property consists of riparian valley hay meadows and contains several spring creeks and spring feed ponds that provide a perfect habitat for abundant rainbow and brown trout. The primary residence known as the “Fish House” is modeled after a 1923 Sears Roebuck catalog Americus style home. While keeping the classic craftsman style form and details, the floor plan was modernized and increased. The ¾ wrap around porch opens to views of surrounding mountain ranges reflecting in the abundant water scape; while the interiors represent clean lines & vibrant colors that pay tribute to the native fish species. All of the structural post, timber details, siding, trims, and interior casework is solid wood and handcrafted in the classic craftsman style. Each bedroom/bath suite’s color theme is inspired by a different trout species. This includes doors, ceilings, custom tile patterns, and fabrics. The YT Shop crafted all doors, cabinetry, built-ins, and most of the furniture in the interior and exterior of the home.

The property also includes a rustic hewn cabin & carport with log detailing tucked into the aspens for a quiet fishing getaway, as well as a 3,800sf ranch managers home accompanied by a classic barn, elaborate greenhouse, and passive solar chicken coop all functioning as a working ranch.
